Suspension & Steering
Noises, wander and uneven tyre wear traced back to the component causing them.
Doorstep service

Braking converts your car's momentum into heat, and every part of the system is designed around getting rid of that heat. Pads wear as designed. Discs wear too, and once they drop below the minimum thickness stamped on the hub they can no longer absorb heat safely - which is when you get fade on a long descent or in heavy traffic.
Brake fluid is the part people forget. It is hygroscopic: it draws moisture out of the air over time, and moisture lowers the boiling point. Fluid that has absorbed water can boil under sustained heavy braking, and vapour compresses where fluid does not. That is the long, soft pedal that appears exactly when you need the brakes most.
So a real brake service is not just a pad swap. Calliper slide pins are cleaned and greased so the pads release properly, disc runout and thickness are measured, hoses are checked for bulging and perishing, and the fluid's condition is assessed rather than assumed.
Scope of work
Why it matters
You are given the actual measurement and the manufacturer's minimum, so 'they need doing' becomes something you can verify.
Pads are the visible part. Hoses, slide pins, fluid and the handbrake mechanism are inspected in the same visit.
Pads are matched to your vehicle's requirement rather than to whatever fits the calliper.
Disc skimming, seized callipers and full circuit bleeds need workshop equipment. We say so rather than improvising.
How the visit runs
A short controlled test tells us about pull, pulsation and pedal feel that a static inspection cannot.
Each corner is inspected with the wheel removed, and pad and disc dimensions are recorded.
You get the measurements and an itemised quote before any part is replaced.
New friction material is fitted, slide pins are cleaned and greased and hardware is renewed where needed.
Pedal feel is checked, the system is verified for leaks and you are told how to bed the new pads in properly.
Brake judder measured rather than guessed. That is a worked example of this sequence rather than a customer’s job, written out from the first symptom to the reading that confirmed the repair.
