What Car Cure asks for, why each piece of it is needed to get a technician to the right car, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it.

This policy explains how Car Cure handles personal information when you use this website, ask us a question, book a service, or have work carried out on your vehicle.
It applies to information collected through this site and through the channels we take bookings and enquiries on, including phone, WhatsApp and email, and to the records created when a technician works on your car.
It does not cover other organisations we link to. Where a link takes you somewhere else — a mapping service, a messaging app, a payment provider — that organisation handles your information under its own policy, not this one.
We ask for the minimum that lets us quote for the work, get the right technician to the right car at the right address, and keep a usable record of what was done.
| What we collect | Examples |
|---|---|
| Booking and enquiry details | Your name, the phone number or email address you contact us on, the address the vehicle is at, the slot you asked for, and your description of the problem in your own words. |
| Vehicle details | Make, model, year, mileage, and any identifying details you choose to give us, such as a registration or chassis number. |
| Service records | Findings from the visit, readings taken against the service limit, photographs of anything flagged, the parts fitted, and the estimate you approved. |
| Messages between us | Enquiries sent through the site, WhatsApp threads, emails, and notes taken during a call about a booking. |
| Payment information | Confirmation that a job was paid and the method used. Where a payment is taken through a payment provider, the card details are handled by that provider under its own terms. |
| Website and analytics data | Pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site that referred you. |
You do not have to give us all of it. Some of it decides whether we can do the job at all: without an address and a way to reach you, there is no visit to arrange.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass your booking details to anyone for their own marketing. If we ever want to send you something beyond the job you booked, we will ask first and you can withdraw that at any time.
Whatever the applicable law calls them, our uses fall into a small number of categories:
The exact legal terms, and the rights that attach to each of them, depend on the data protection law that applies to Car Cure and to you. That mapping is one of the things this draft leaves for review rather than guessing at.
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. They are used here for two purposes: keeping the site working as you move around it, and measuring how the site is used so we can tell which pages are doing their job.
Measurement is not necessary for the site to function. Where the applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies and analytics, they should only load after you have given it, and you should be able to change your mind afterwards.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the site behaving as intended.
To be completed before launch: the specific cookies and analytics providers in use, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how consent is captured and withdrawn.
Your details go to the people the job or the law requires, and no further:
We keep information for as long as it is still doing a job:
To be completed before launch: the actual retention periods, set against the law and the accounting rules that apply to the business. This draft does not invent figures for them.
Access is limited to the people who need it for their part of the job. A technician is given what a booking requires rather than access to everything, and records are kept on systems chosen for the purpose rather than scattered across personal accounts.
No system is perfectly secure, and a policy that claims otherwise is overstating it. The specific measures in place — access controls, backups, device rules and who is accountable for them — should be documented internally and summarised here before launch.
Depending on where you are and which law applies, you are likely to have some or all of the following rights:
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that we never hand one person’s details to another. Some rights have limits: a service record documenting work carried out on a vehicle may need to be kept even after a deletion request, and we will tell you when that is the case.
When this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page and the date at the top of it changes with it. A material change to how information is used deserves more than a quiet edit, so it should be flagged on the site, or directly, where we hold contact details for you.
Questions about this policy, or a request about your own information, can be sent to carscure.pk@gmail.com or through the contact page. Tell us what you are asking for and, if it relates to a job, roughly when the visit took place, so we can find the right record.
Book a slot, tell us about the car, and a technician comes to you. No workshop trip, no waiting room, and an itemised estimate before anything starts.
Submitting a booking request costs nothing and charges nothing. An advisor confirms your slot before a technician is dispatched.
