There is no colleague at the next bay to check a reading with, no lift, and no chance to disappear behind a workshop door - everything happens in front of the person who owns the car. A technician who can diagnose gets you moving more often than someone who can only tow. We triage the fault on the call, and if the car should not be driven, we will tell you that plainly and help arrange recovery instead.

Response times depend on your location and which technicians are free, so we tell you the realistic wait on the call rather than quoting a number we cannot stand behind.
