Doorstep service

There are two tunes, and the difference between them is scope rather than quality. Engine tuning is the engine itself: the throttle body and air intake cleaned, the MAP, MAF, TPS and oxygen sensors cleaned, the spark plugs and ignition coils cleaned, the air and AC filters cleaned, a computerised scan, and a computerised throttle body calibration afterwards. It is Rs 3,000 whatever you drive.
General tuning is that same engine work plus the two jobs most people put off: the AC gas checked and topped up, and the brakes stripped of rust and greased. It is priced by engine size, from Rs 3,999, because a bigger engine takes more time and more consumables.
Both include the oil change as labour. The oil itself is charged separately, and so is AC gas - we would rather say that here than have you find it on the invoice. Most workshops in Lahore will not give you any of these numbers until they have seen the car; ours are on the page before you call.
One thing worth being clear about: this is a service tune, not a performance remap. We are not reflashing your ECU for more power. If that is what you are after, we are not the right workshop and we would rather tell you now.
Scope of work
Why it matters
Rs 3,000 for an engine tune whatever you drive, and four published engine bands for a general tune. You are not waiting for a number after someone has looked at the car.
Cleaning a throttle body without recalibrating it afterwards can leave the idle worse than it started. The calibration is part of both tunes, not an extra.
A computerised scan is included in both, so you find out whether anything else is logged rather than only treating what you could already feel.
A tune does not need a lift. The technician brings the equipment to your home, your office or your parking bay.
How the visit runs
General tuning is priced by displacement, so the band your car falls into decides the figure before anyone sets off.
With the cleaning equipment, the scan tool and the filters - not a van that has to go back for something.
The car is read before the work starts, so anything already logged is known rather than discovered afterwards.
Intake, throttle body, sensors, plugs, coils and filters, then the computerised throttle body calibration that makes the cleaning hold.
You are told what the scan showed and what, if anything, needs a separate job. Nothing extra is done without you agreeing to it first.
